Home Night Time Safety. Why to have indoor and outdoor lights on during the night
Home safety. Click HERE to read, When to Turn the Porch and inside Lights On:By: Rebecca Edwards
When you’re home at night, you should leave a light on.
It alerts burglars to your presence, particularly if indoor lights are on too. The porch light also acts as a spotlight on the front door. You can easily see who’s approaching through either a window or peephole.

I agree for all the same reasons! Decades ago I lived in a large apartment complex and we had a peeping tom. I remember looking out my back windows seeing his outline in dark clothing ducking back and forth behind a large tree. The stuff that nightmares are made of. I got fed up one night and yelled loudly, " Get the gun! He's out there!". He never came back.

I always close my blinds at night. When we drive down our street at night I see people with the blinds open and you can see all the way through the house. I don't like that at all.
